>> and shortly thereafter, on a vote of 359 to 43, the house voted to table the motion to remove congressman mike johnson as speaker of the house. 11 republicans voted in favor of the motion. seven democrats voted present. representative greene's motion comes after house speaker mike johnson crafted approval of a bipartisan $95 billion national security spending package that included funding for israel, taiwan and ukraine, over objections from marjorie taylor greene and other republicans who didn't support money being spent. following the vote, minority leader hakeem jeffries and house speaker johnson spoke to reporters.
