old boss. trump dropping his head when her name was called. her testimony was brief. all the years of record keeping, packing a punch. she kept trump's calendar and contacts and she entered information for porn star stormy daniels including her mobile phone number. and there was nor. of she testified she had a vague recollection of seeing daniels in trump tower in the reception area on the 26th floor. trump denies he had an affair with daniels. but prosecutors say she was p $130,000 to keep quiet before the election and trump falsified business records to cover it up. she also had contact information for karen mcdougal, the former "playboy" model who had an affair with trump. she typed in two addresses, a cell phone number and e-mail address. trump denies that affair, too, but former "national enquirer" public er publisher, david pecker, has testified that at trump's direction, his tabloid bought mcdougal's story but never ran it to protect trump's campaign. and after the election, pecker

told the jury trump thanked him. on cross examination, trump's lawyer, susan necheles, suggested stormy daniels visited trump tower because she was being considered for a role on the apprentice. graff said there was office chatter about that, adding "i vaguely recall hearing trump say that daniels may be one of the interesting people who could be on the show." but no ambiguity on one point, when trump's lawyer asked graff if she wanted to be there in court, her one word answer, "no." and as she left the stand, donald trump rose up out of his chair to greet her, whispering some words and extending his hand. >> reporter: the first week of testimony ended with a banter of testimony. the jury heard the granular details about the shell company, michael cohen used to pay stormy daniels her hush money. remember, prosecutors have to prove that when trump paid cohen back, he falsified business records so voters would never know. >> aaron, thank you. now to the campus protest officials the war in

protesters, those talks are on going tonight. >> thank you, stephanie. now to the race for the white house. president biden tonight, for the first time, saying he's willing to debate trump. biden's speaking with howard stern who asked the president if he is going to his opponent. >> i am, somewhere. i don't know when. i'm happy to debate him. >> our senior white house correspondent joining us now. this is a first for the president. >> it is. i mean, this is a major change for president biden. they've been dodging that debate question. donald trump has been dialing up the pressure, urging biden to debate even though trump himself refused to debate his opponents during a republican primary. dur th during that interview, i did speak with the campaign tonight, they say they have no update on when or under what conditions there could be a debate only telling me that biden's comments speak for themselves. >> all right. will we'll stand by for news on that. thank you. overseas to the war in gaza.

the u.s. is holding off on imposing sanctions on israeli military units accused of human rights violations. those incidents in the west bank happened before the war with hamas. some of them captured on video. we are in israel tonight. >> reporter: tonight, the u.s. declining to sanction three israeli military units accused of abusing palestinian civilians, including the one seen in this 2019 video shown in an israeli court and to convict five soldiers of abusing detainees. soldiers from that same unit also seen kicking two palestinian men in this video from 2022 which led to an idf investigation and suspensions. in a letter first obtained by abc news, the secretary of state saying because israel has taken steps to address the issues, the u.s. will not delay the delivery of any assistance to the idf despite an investigation determining the units wore credibly implicated in a gross
