nine people are in the hospital here's an aerial look at that campus from earlier today... at least nine people are hurt tonight... the alleged- attacker is dead the university was on lockdown for a few hours. you can see police cars, officers with guns and vests at the scene, and chairs blocking doors inside classrooms at ohio state. many emotional responses after the attacks...people still in disbelief emotions running high as we learn more about the attacks tonight... around nine this morning as the attacker ran a car into a crowd of students... proceeding to stab people with a butcher knife ohio state police saying this was done on purpose now, police are trying to find a motive nbc's chris pollone has more calm. and then chaos. at one of the nation's (s/ scott bedle / osu student) "i was going to class and just saw people running and was situation. but witnesses say a fire

that's when a man in a car jumped the sidewalk and plowed into them .
