3:00 p.m., 50 degrees under a mostly sunny sky. some of the headlines as we look ahead. windchills hanging out in the upper 30s, low 40s, we warm up nicely in the seven-day forecast. i'll have the details, plus, we're tracking a rainstorm by thursday, all that coming up in ten minutes. guys? >> the big to the big story on "action news" this sunday morning is the last push for votes in the delaware valley. both men vying for governor will get serious star power as they stump for votes. president obama will make a stop in north philadelphia to campaign for tom wolf. mr. obama will appear at the liacouras center at temple university in north philadelphia. wolf is making to help corbett the first governor in pennsylvania's modern political history to lose a re-election bit. meanwhile, tom corbett will get campaign help from new jersey governor chris christie. christie stumped for the fell --

fellow republican governor in montgomery county. corbett win will send him back to harrisburg for another four years. >> in the last days before election day, tom corbett is closing in on his opponent tom wolf that's according to the franklin and marshall poll. the poll released friday shows wolf with 53% of the vote. corbett has gained ground with 40%. 5% are undecided. education and taxes are the issues that voters say are the most important to them in the race. election day is november 4. voters in new jersey cast their ballots at 6:00 a.m. polls open at 7:00 a.m. in pennsylvania and delaware. polls close at 8:00 p.m. across the tri-state area. you can rely on "action news" and 6abc.com to track the results as we get them.

go to 6abc.com/election for profiles of the candidates. an 18-year-old boy is fighting for his life after he was shot while sitting in a car in the north philadelphia street overnight. the action cam was at temple university hospital where the victim arrived in a bmw at 2:30. police say the teen was sitting in the car on the ten hundred block of west tioga street when someone opened fire and shot him in the head and hand. that car raced to temple. the victim is in critical condition. a montgomery neighborhood is on edge this morning after a young boy found a razor blade inside a sandy bar after a night of trick or treating. police are trying to determine where the dangerous candy came from. kenneth moten has the story. >> reporter: halloween night is a festive one in this community. haunted houses decorations and trick or treaters.

residents can't wrap their head around the thought that a neighbor wants to harm their children. packaging mistake or malicious act. brandon was trick or treating and came home with a two inch razor blade in his candy stash. >> i opened it up and a box cutter fell out of it. >> reporter: the boy was walking house to house where so many were out and about having a good time. his mother said the razor was in the wrapper of a miniature nestlely crunch bar. >> i think it's crazy to go and ruin an innocent holiday where kids dress up and get candy and you have to worry about razor blades. >> reporter: police handed out information alerting residents. >> that neighborhood will never think of halloween the same. it changes everything. the child got the candy from a

locally we're seeing a lot of cloud cover this morning hanging tough along the coast. everybody else is seeing a decent amount of sun now. we'll go mixed skies, combination of sun and clouds, blustery and cold high temperatures again, close to 50 degrees, 44 degrees, sun and clouds, lunchtime, 48. 3:00 p.m. there's the high of 50 and 6:00 p.m. back down to 45. remember the sun sets before 5:00 p.m. so the temperatures will fall off quirk than what we're -- quicker than what we're used to seeing. pattern change that is what it looks like today. what you will see is the milder ridge set in across the eastern seaboard that will get temperatures back into the 60s by tuesday and wednesday. i'll talk about that much more in the seven day when i step back inside in just a bit. >> voters will head to the polls in two days in the midterm elections. one of the biggest races is for governor of pennsylvania. president obama will campaign for tom wolf during a stop in
